We've listened and agreed with feedback received last year about people wanting to do both the Reindeer run and the Santa run. There were also concerns about the Santa suits ending up in the bin after each event which isn't good for the environment, people said they would rather the cost of the suit went to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

We have therefore made some changes for this year’s event and will be teaming up with the Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Brighter Futures who hold their Reindeer Run on the same day at Coate Water.

This year you have a choice of:
  •  Santa Hat, no suit as it’s more environmentally friendly,
  •  Or Antlers, if you’d rather be a Reindeer for the morning.
    
  We hope you agree with the changes we have made this year. We expect to put on a bigger and better festive event to support two of the biggest and best local charities in Swindon, Brighter Futures and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
